Five Killed When Fine Air Cargo Plane Crashed in 1997
A Fine Air DC-8 cargo plane crashed and caught fire shortly after takeoff from Miami International Airport on August 7, 1997, killing five crew members. The accident occurred nearly 30 years before a similar Amazon cargo plane crash at the same airport in September 2026.
